Stuart Binny

Initially signed on by the franchise in 2018, the all-rounder returned to the Royals fold for the 2019 edition as well. Binny, however, disappointed with both bat and ball in the limited opportunities he received during the 50-day event. The Bengaluru-born cricketer played eight matches and scored just 70 runs in five innings. The all-rounder picked up just one wicket throughout the league stage in a lacklustre Rajasthan Royals campaign.

Varun Aaron

Indian fast-bowler Varun Aaron was selected by Rajasthan Royals team management to strengthen their pace battery. The move backfired as the 30-year old could only pick up four wickets in his five matches at an average of 29. He was also expensive in the death overs, conceding 9.66 runs per over throughout the IPL 2019.

Jaydev Unadkat

The left-arm pacer was purchased for a whopping ₹8.4 crore by the franchise. The cricketer played 11 matches and accounted for just 10 wickets. With an economy of 10.66 per over, he hampered his side’s play-off chances by averaging 39.80. His dismal performance makes him one of the likeliest candidates to be released by Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming auction.
