After KKR and KXIP broke bank with mammoth deals on Pat Cummins and Glenn Maxwell, or teams got into action too and made some expensive deals. latest one of lot is Piyush Chawla, veteran leg-spinner, who will w join Chennai Super Kings for 2020 season.

IPL Auction 2020: CSK spoil Chawla's homecoming
Piyush Chawla is one of IPL's most successful bowlers and in this auction, his first IPL team Kings XI Punjab showed massive interest in him. It was only CSK, which kept on competing with Kings XI, eventually making Mohali franchise tap-out. He was purchased for a sum of Rs. 6.75 crore. Chawla has taken 150 wickets in 157 IPL matches.
