Mumbai Indians owners Nita Ambani and Akash Ambani welcomed Hardik Pandya back to the fold from Gujarat Titans ahead of IPL 2024.

Hardik Pandya's sensational return to Mumbai Indians has disrupted the entire IPL scene. The Indian vice-captain was successfully transferred from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians in a cash deal earlier today. Hardik led Gujarat to their maiden IPL title in 2022.

Hardik Pandya arrived at Mumbai Indians from Gujarat Titans

Mumbai announced Hardik's arrival in style as the five-time champions surprised everyone by pulling off this shock transfer. His arrival means Suryakumar Yadav might have to pave the way as Hardik is expected to take the vice-captaincy in IPL 2024. Having bought him at a base price in 2015, Mumbai have nurtured the Indian cricketer to be one of the most lethal all-rounders in the world. His expertise in this format will be invaluable and both Nita Ambani and Akasha Ambani embraced him with open arms.
