Rohit Sharma and co., have more problems at ir disposal keeping in mind WTC 2023 final that will be played at Oval, London starting on June 7, 2023. Indian team has alrey sustained major injury blows in form of Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant. Piling on to ir pain, y have yet anor injury issue to dress and things look bleak as far as marquee clash against Australia is considered.
Earlier, LSG captain KL Rahul was forced to call off his IPL campaign mid-season owing to an injury to his thigh. Rahul sustained injury while fielding during a match between LSG and RCB on May 1. A few days later he announced his exit from tournament, saying that doctors have vised him to undergo surgery. Rahul underwent a successful surgery in United Kingdom and is expected to join NCA for rehab.

Lucknow Super Giants pacer Jaydev Unkat has been ruled out of current edition of Indian Premier League. Suryansh Shedge has been announced as Unkat's replacement in LSG squ. According to a media visory issued on IPL's official website. Shedge has been brought in as Unkat's replacement for remainder of season. He has joined Uttar Presh-based franchise for Rs. 20 lakh.
Unkat sustained a shoulder injury during a training session at nets earlier this month. LSG management released left-arm bowler after consulting with BCCI medical team. According to reports, Unkat has been sent to National Cricket Acemy in Bengaluru to complete his rehab and recover in time for World Test Championship final. Unkat played three matches for LSG this season and remained wicketless.
