'Rishabh's Real Bidding Will Start From Rs 20 Crore': Pant Touted To Go Big In IPL 2025 Auction

upcoming IPL 2025 auction is set to create a buzz with top players like Rishabh Pant , KL Rahul , and Shreyas Iyer up for grabs. Pant, in particular, is expected to be center of attention, with his bidding expected to start from Rs 20 crore onwards. IPL insiders predict he may become highest paid player in league, with a possible deal ranging from Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore.

How much will Rishabh Pant earn in IPL 2025?

Rishabh Pant's availability has generated immense interest, especially from teams like Punjab Kings , who have a purse of Rs 110.5 crore left, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (Rs 83 crore), and Lucknow Super Giants (Rs 69 crore), who are looking for a new captain and a star player. Gujarat Titans , with Rs 69 crore, may also be in running, although y don't necessarily need a captain.

auction, scheduled for third week of December, promises to be an exciting event, with teams having to buy at least 15 players due to Rs 75 crore retention cap on international players and availability of Right To Match cards. 

While Rishabh Pant's differences with Delhi Capitals ' management led to his release, he is now poised to become one of most sought-after players in auction. 

"Rishabh's real bidding will start from Rs 20 crore onwards. re will be three teams who can afford to bid big for him. One is Punjab Kings with Rs 110.5 crore in its kitty. y need a new captain and a brand. RCB has Rs 83 crore and LSG have Rs 69 crore and y also need a new captain," a top official of a franchise told PTI.

" Gujarat Titans don't need a captain but y also have Rs 69 crore. DC has Rs 73 crore but why would y go for someone, y released under acrimonious circumstances," he ded.

While Suresh Raina might have raised hopes of CSK fans about Pant joining Dhoni but with Rs 55 crore, y can hardly even get to a ballpark figure and N Srinivasan's team doesn't function on whims and fancies.

industry insiders expect Rishabh Pant to get anything between Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore.
