"I have great relations with Hardik, we have a great bonding. He (Hardik) is a good senior player for India and has proven himself as a World Cup-winning vice-captain and captain of Mumbai Indians. He guides me well," Tilak Varma said after India defeated South Africa in Centurion.

Tilak Varma highlighted how Pandya has benefited his career, saying that veteran all-rounder's guidance and leership have been crucial. He played down any rumours regarding tensions and rifts in Mumbai Indians dressing room after Hardik became franchise's skipper.

"Whatever happens outside, in reality, we are all toger. We stand united through ups and downs," Varma ded.

Tilak Varma showcased his grit and power when he came in at number three spot. batting all-rounder's 107* off 56 balls and Abhishek Sharma's half-century were clinical to Team India's performance as y scored 219/6 after batting first at SuperSport park in Centurion.
