Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan condemned racial abuse and said that the abusive fans should not come to stadiums if they cannot respect players

Irfan Pathan gave a befitting reply to offenders and at same time has backed frontline pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj after duo was subjected to racial abuse during ongoing third Test match that is underway at Sydney Cricket Ground by a group of unruly crowd at SCG.

Taking to micro-blogging site, former Indian all-rounder wrote that if one cant respect players on field n y better t come to stadium to watch game in very first place.

Siraj once again abused by Australian crowd
Speedster Mohammed Siraj had complained of being subjected to racial abuses yet again on Day Four of third Test. At end of 85th over of Australia's second innings, Siraj walked up to umpires along with stand-in Test captain Ajinkya Rahane to report incident following which police asked spectators responsible to leave stand. Siraj was subjected to racism from spectators at SCG while he was standing at boundary rope after completing 85th over.

As per sources, four spectators were reportedly asked to move back and sit furr up stands after Indian team complained to umpires.
This was second such incident after a similar one was reported by Indian team on Saturday i.e. on Day 3 of ongoing Test match.

Cricket Australia issues statement on racism in ongoing SCG Test
“Cricket Australia has reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy towards discriminatory behaviour in all forms following alleged racial abuse of members of Indian cricket squad by a section of crowd at Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday,” read statement.
