Ishan Kishan has announced his comeback to red ball cricket in some style as he played a blistering knock for Jharkhand in the Buchi Babu tournament.
Ishan Kishan had been missing from cricketing action since the conclusion of IPL 2024 and has now marked a successful return to red ball cricket in the Buchi Babu tournament played in Mumbai. Icons like Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar have all featured in the tournament previously.
This time round it is Ishan Kishan's turn to showcase his talents in the tournament and the wicketkeeper batsman in his very first outing did not disappoint the fans. Captaining Jharkand State Cricket Association (JSCA) in the tournament, Ishan Kishan led from the front as he announced his comeback in style. His performance will certainly cause a lot of headaches to selectors.

Ishan Kishan showed out with the bat for Jharkhand in their game against Madhya Pradesh as he scored a sensational knock and scored a century in his red ball comeback.
Ishan Kishan with his 100 announced his comeback into the format and showed complete focus. Kishan steered Jharkhand's innings to a respectable score and he would want to keep building it.

Ishan Kishan raced to his 100 in just 86 balls and smashed two sixes and a four in the same over.
Kishan showcased sensational hitting as he smashed two sixes in a row to bring up his century in style.
Ahead of impacting the game with bat, Kishan also performed exceptionally behind the wicket as he took 3 incredible catches.
Ishan Kishan eyes India comeback
Kishan along with Shreyas Iyer was snubbed from the BCCI central contract last year. The Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper batsman had opted out of the IND vs SA Test series in December 2023 owing to mental health issues.
Kishan was also a part of India's 2023 ODI World Cup squad but played only the first two games and was later replaced by Shubman Gill.

BCCI selectors and Jay Shah have made it clear that for Kishan to comeback into the Indian Cricket Team he will have to focus on domestic cricket. Kishan will be hoping the Buchi Babu tournament could be his road to comeback.
