Shreyas Iyer-led side faced a major obstacle though, as Indian seamer Ishant Sharma was ruled out of competition due to an injury. Delhi team shared Ishant Sharma's emotional farewell as he said goodbye to his teammates.

With Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma nursing major injuries, re seems to be uncertainty looming over ir participation in Australia series.
