With just days to go for IPL 2021 to begin, Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer - troubled with options to field in playing XI - has sought help of fans to iron out his doubts. former India Test specialist has taken his heache to franchises' fans seeking suggestions on team's batting lineup ahe of ir first outing against Rajasthan Royals on April 12. With dition of World No.1 T20 batsman Dawid Malan and presence of Caribbean power-hitter Chris Gayle, Jaffer seems to be spoilt with options, heing into marquee event.
Punjab's explosive batting unit is let by skipper KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal - duo which lit IPL 2020 on fire with ir fiery partnerships. Chris Gayle stepped in later with his fireworks and re is also Nicholas Pooran in mix to strengn order. IPL begins on April 9 in India
14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to kick off on April 9 from Chennai as BCCI unveiled schedule for marquee event. IPL Governing Council informed that IPL 2021 would begin at MA Chidambaram Stium in Chennai, with defending champions Mumbai taking on Bangalore. After nearly two years, IPL extravaganza will return home with Ahmedab, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata hosting marquee event.

final of IPL 2021 will be played at newly inaugurated Narendra Modi Stium in Ahmedab on May 30, making it first-ever IPL game to be played at venue. Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata & Bengaluru will host 10 matches each while Ahmedab and Delhi will host 8 matches each, between April 9 and May 30. In dition, every team is set to play at a neutral venue and all teams will play at 4 out of 6 venues during league stage.
