England's Test skipper Joe Root is eyeing to be a primary choice for country's T20 side, he has revealed according to media sources in UK. seasoned Test batsman has tasted success in longer format of game and wants to go on to represent country in shortest format of game as well. Kwn to be a world-class batsman, Joe Root is considered to be among league of contemporary cricketing wizards such as Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson, and Babar Azam. 29-year-old has played 86 Tests and has amassed 7043 runs and w looks to extend his dominance in T20s as well.

Joe Root eyes place in T20 side

England are currently in New Zealand where y are scheduled to play five T20s followed by two Test matches. Joe Root, who has t been considered for T20 side, is keen on bettering himself constantly, in order to make it to side. “For me to get into T20 side, it will mean that I have to keep getting better,” Root told British media. If someone like Tom Banton comes in and sets world alight, I’ve got to try to force him out in limited opportunities I get to play. Joe Root went on to elaborate that if he succeded replacing a young face in team, it would raise standards of cricket for England and that food chain was as such that one could be on top and get swept away suddenly. In T20s, Joe Root has me 32 appearances, scoring 893 runs.
