Joe Root calls for discussions with ECB, PCA amidst 'pay cut' reports
England cricket's Test skipper Joe Root commented on whether he was expecting a pay cut due to the coronavirus pandemic that has wreaked havoc on cricket.

Cricket, like most or sports, is currently standing still too and resulting changes in calendar can potentially bring a lot of losses to cricket boards around world. While BCCI will be immediately concerned about IPL, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will be worried about its upcoming cricketing summer which it stands to potentially lose.

Player discussions to be held by ECB over paycuts soon
According to a report by a leing British publication, ECB is being expected to have a meeting with players over any potential pay cuts that players can receive. ECB has alrey anunced that re will be cricket in country till May 28 and furr competitions will be suject to trends shown by coronavirus pandemic. Reports are w emerging that England cricket players may face pay cuts up to £200,000 (approximately ₹1.86 crore).
