Justin Langer reflects on worst day of his coaching career
In an interview with a sports portal, Justin Langer revealed worst day of his coaching career. Langer recalled third Test of 2019 Ashes in England. In game, Australia had reduced home side to 286-9 during ir pursuit of 359 to level series. Langer described occasion as probably worst day of his coaching career. He added that defeat ended up giving him best 10 days of his life as Australia went on to win next Test match at Manchester. Australia won fourth Test at Old Trafford by 185 runs to regain lead in series. win also resulted in Australia retaining Ashes for first time in country since Steve Waugh-led team won in 2001.
