Kagiso Rabada was the only bowler who managed to trouble the Indian batsmen in the second Test match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. South Africa, who had to bowl first after Virat Kohli had won the toss started off well and managed to keep the batsmen quiet in his first spell where he was also rewarded with Rohit Sharma's wicket. Rabada then went on to remove Cheteshwar Pujara and centurion Mayank Agarwal later on. The young speedster was the pick of the bowlers for the Proteas with figures of 3/93 at an economy rate of 3.10 including three maidens. However, he made a big statement after his team's series loss.

The Proteas could not get the ball to reverse swing
After South Africa were handed an innings defeat in the second Test match, Kagiso Rabada came forward and said that he and his bowlers could not get the ball to reverse.
"India spinners bowled well, and when the ball was reversing, their seamers could exploit that. We didn't really get the ball to reverse, and that's a major weapon of ours," ICC quoted Rabada as saying."They got the ball to reverse and they bowled well as a collective. Their whole attack put pressure on us in every single aspect," he added.

"We've been put under immense pressure. I don't know if we can be put under more pressure than that," he said.

India win the Test series
After a comprehensive 203-run win at Vizag, Team India handed the Proteas an innings defeat at Pune (an innings & 137 runs) in the second Test match to win the three-match Test series 2-0. By the virtue of this win, India continues to be at the summit of the ICC World Test Championship points table. The top-ranked Test side led by Virat Kohli remains undisputed in the ranking with 200 points from four matches. No other team is even close as New Zealand and Sri Lanka with 60 points each occupy the second and third positions respectively. The third and final Test match will be played at the JSCA International Stadium Complex at Ranchi on Saturday.
