He also said that his stats show evidence of his performance. Those who questioned his wicket-keeping has got an answer from his recent records. He also added that he is still fit and performing well eugh as a wicketkeeper-batsman to have a place in team.

Akmal also spoke about his performance in last four seasons and hoped that selectors would give him a chance based on his performance. He said that his job is to play and perform wherever and whenever he gets chance. It is selectors who will analyze his performance and see accordingly.

Akmal has scored around 2200 runs in last four seasons, including ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, at a commendable aver of over 56.
