Kevin Pietersen takes dig at England coach's views on IPL, fans call him 'Visionary'
Former England captain Kevin Pietersen got praised by fans after the ECB decided to factor in their players' schedule to make way for their IPL commitments.

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) appears to be on board with Indian Premier League (IPL). As reported by Telegraph, ECB will be factoring in ir player’s schedule in accordance with ir IPL commitments. England’s he coach Chris Silverwood, who h earlier prioritised international cricket over franchise cricket, also seems to be on board with new scheduling design, as per reports.

Kevin Pietersen drops gentle update as ECB accepts IPL as “way of life”
Former England captain Kevin Pietersen was among earliest vocates of IPL from his country. During earlier years of IPL itself, Pietersen was involved in many bitter rows with his country’s cricket board regarding his and his teammates’ participation in Indian tournament. Upon learning about ECB’s newfound acceptance of IPL and ir willingness to just ir players’ schedule accordingly, cricketer-turned-commentator took to Twitter and took a dig at England team manment.
Several fans hailed Kevin Pietersen for “being ahe of time”, claiming that legendary batsman knew all along about future of IPL and place of franchise cricket in international calendar. Meanwhile, some fans also stated that y would have loved to see Pietersen in ECB’s new plan as opposed to seeing his struggles against board during his playing days. IPL 2021 auction
IPL 2021 auction recently got a February 18 date by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). tournament itself is slated to commence just a few days after conclusion of India vs England series between February 5 and March 28.
India vs England series
Several England players, including Ben Stokes, have alrey arrived in India for ir upcoming four-match Test series against hosts. first of four Tests will commence from February 5 onwards at M. A. Chidambaram Stium in Chennai. Test series will be followed by five T20Is and three ODIs.
