'Khelte Kam, Bolte Zyada Hai': Former PAK Skipper Rips Apart Babar Azam With Brutal Kohli Comparison

Pakistan 's Shameful defeat in the test series against Bangladesh brutally spoiled the team's image, it raises questions about the captaincy of Babar Azam .

As PCB is trying to resolve the issue, The former Pak Skipper Younis Khan puts his point of view on Babar's captaincy, and also he says what he needs to learn from Virat Kohli .

Former Pakistan Captain Younis Khan has lashed out at current white ball skipper Babar Azam . Younis who captained Pakistan says he knows the sport's temperament and mentality and doesn't see that captain spark in Babar as he takes the game very casually. Younis said, Babar was appointed as captain as he was performing well that time.  

Now Babar has come under the firing line for his batting and leadership. Younis further added that Babar hasn't scored a half-century in the last 16 innings and his current situation seems that his cricket career is in a state of jeopardy. By mentioning the current test series loss against Bangladesh , Younis says that Babar and his squad run their mouth more and perform less.

"If Babar and other top players deliver on the field, then results will be clear to everyone. Humare players khelte kam, bolte zyada hai. (I have observed that our players tend to talk more than they perform)," said Younis

Comparing Babar With Virat  

Comparing  Babar's Performance and captainship with other players, Younis urged that Babar should learn from Virat Kohli 's ethics and the capacity he has to understand the frame and structure of the game. Younis Khan said "Look at Virat Kohli . He chose to step down from captaincy on his own terms, and now he's breaking records worldwide. This shows that playing for the country should be the priority. If there's any energy left, then play for yourself,''

Further, he added "The only suggestion I have for Babar is that he should focus on his cricket. He should up his performance. Babar Azam was made the captain because he was the best player at the time. I was there when the decision was made that the team's best player should be the captain. 

"Your focus should be on cricket. You have to perform everywhere because there are very high expectations. Players should focus more on cricket and use social media wisely, but their real answers should come through their performances with the bat and ball. He (Babar) needs to focus on his fitness and work ethic because opportunities like these don't come around often,"

After Pakistan 's Loss in the test series against Bangladesh Babar Azam is facing high criticism from former players and PCB( Pakistan Cricket Board). As Babar Azam is facing his criticism and being targetted, his captaincy seems to be at stake.
