We are roughly a fortnight away from the IPL 2025 auction, and speculations are rife over who would bid for whom. Some top names would be there at the auction pool this time and that is exactly what is exciting the fans. And for some players, who are absolutely indispensable - there would be multiple franchises bidding for them. Some players who would deliver multiple roles and would also help build the core and secure the future. Rishabh Pant : It was first a surprise to see Delhi Capitals not holding onto Pant. Not only is he a livewire behind the stumps, but can also double-up as the premier batter of the side and a captaincy choice. He could solve a number of problems for both the franchises and hence one can expect a bid. 

KL Rahul : So much talk and speculations around Rahul and his future at the Lucknow Super Giants . Eventually, we saw Rahul being released. He is an experienced player with multiple abilities. Rahul is a captaincy option, plus, he can keep wickets and bat almost anywhere in the batting order. Both franchises would have him in their wishlist. 

Jos Buttler: He is a proven match-winner, has ample IPL experience and that always is a bonus. The English T20 captain is a modern-day cricketer who plays all formats. Given his experience, he could be a hot property at the auction. He can lead the side and in addition to that, he can keep wickets and open the batting.
