India spinner Kuldeep Yadav reckons that current phase in his career is one of many challenges he will have to overcome in international cricket by keep putting in hard yards. Kuldeep Yadav has t had much to do in last couple of months as he and Yuzvendra Chahal were sidelined from two Twenty 20 series against West Indies and South Africa respectively with India trying out youngsters in lead up to T20 World Cup next year. "When I started playing cricket, never thought I would play for India. I have been playing for India close to three years w, re will be many challenges, like one I am facing at moment," Kuldeep told PTI when asked about challenging phase when he is struggling to make Test XI following his exclusion from T20 side. "re is thing without hard work and discipline and I continue to play game with that approach," he said at a promotional event.

Kuldeep Yadav ready to faces challenges in his international career

24-year-old started his journey in international cricket with a four-wicket haul against Australia in a Test match in March 2017 and it did t take him long to cement his place in side in all three formats.  He also became third Indian to take a hat-trick in ODIs. Kuldeep Yadav remains part of Test squad but has t got a game this season with Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja doing job rar well in ongoing series against South Africa.  After World Cup, where Kuldeep Yadav took six wickets in seven games at 56.16, he played ODIs in West Indies but warmed bench in two-Test series. Asked if selectors and team manment have communicated ir reasons for t including him and Chahal in T20 squad, Kuldeep Yadav said: "I will talk about it when Test series is over."

Kuldeep on him being dropped from T20I

In 68 T20 matches since that 2016 T20 World Cup, Kuldeep has taken 81 wickets at an aver of 22.97 (ninth-best in world, second among Indians), and an ecomy rate of 7.60 (fifth among Indians). And, he feels wrist spinners are in demand currently.  "re is doubt that wrist spinners are dominating world," Kuldeep said. "But sometimes, when you try to stop runs, you actually turn out to be expensive. We need to work on our accuracy. You need to accept that you do get hit for runs and work on being ecomical."
