As per reports, the Pakistan government may urge PCB to withdraw from the Champions Trophy if the hosting rights are pulled from them as India denied to travel.

After BCCI's mess over team's participation in Champions Trophy was relayed to PCB, y have put forth matter into hands of PAK Government for guidance. While possibility of a hybrid model has alrey been ruled out by PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi, ICC may opt to shift tournament out of Pakistan. In such a circumstance, reports from Dawn suggest that government may urge PCB to t participate in ICC Champions Trophy.
“In such a case, one of options government is mulling is that of asking PCB to ensure Pakistan don’t participate in Champions Trophy,” a source said,

reports also ded that federal government is looking at issue quite “seriously.” ditionally, it states that until problems between India and Pakistan are resolved at governmental level, authorities may request that PCB should decline to play against India in any ICC or ACC competitions. Ar option, as per reports, was that PCB would pursue legal action against ICC and BCCI at Court of Arbitration for Sport in Geneva.

After India refused to travel to Pakistan for CT 2025, sources mentioned that ICC has asked PCB to confirm if a Hybrid Model -- where India’s matches and final would be held in Dubai -- is acceptable to m. In case PCB decides to pull out of hosting tournament due to India's refusal, ICC could consider moving entire event to South Africa. While PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi is t rey to accept Hybrid Model, it is yet to be seen on what happens next.
