Pakistan May Threaten A Champions Trophy Pullout After India's Refusal Over Travel Issues | Reports
As per reports, the Pakistan government may urge PCB to withdraw from the Champions Trophy if the hosting rights are pulled from them as India denied to travel.

The Champions Trophy hosting saga is intensifying with time as the PCB and BCCI have reached an impasse over Team India's travel to Pakistan , The CT 2025 hosts are not ready to budge and have already denied a hybrid model, while the Indian Cricket Board have been advised to not send the team to the neighbouring country ever since the tensions among both side escalated.

After the BCCI's message over the team's participation in the Champions Trophy was relayed to the PCB, they have put forth the matter into the hands of the PAK Government for guidance. While the possibility of a hybrid model has already been ruled out by PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi, the ICC may opt to shift the tournament out of Pakistan. In such a circumstance, reports from Dawn suggest that the government may urge the PCB to not participate in the ICC Champions Trophy.
“In such a case, one of the options the government is mulling is that of asking the PCB to ensure Pakistan don’t participate in the Champions Trophy,” a source said,

The reports also added that the federal government is looking at the issue quite “seriously.” Additionally, it states that until the problems between India and Pakistan are resolved at the governmental level, the authorities may request that the PCB should decline to play against India in any ICC or ACC competitions. Another option, as per reports, was that the PCB would pursue legal action against the ICC and BCCI at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Geneva.

After India refused to travel to Pakistan for CT 2025, sources mentioned that the ICC has asked the PCB to confirm if a Hybrid Model -- where India’s matches and the final would be held in Dubai -- is acceptable to them. In case the PCB decides to pull out of hosting the tournament due to India's refusal, the ICC could consider moving the entire event to South Africa. While PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi is not ready to accept the Hybrid Model, it is yet to be seen on what happens next.
