With the Champions Trophy gradually closing in, the anticipation over Team India's participation has raised a lot of eyebrows as the suspense over their participation remains. EAM S Jaishankar's recent visit to Islamabad for a summit was seen as one of the biggest moves made by the central government, and the chance for Team India to travel to Pakistan has increased. CT is a critical tournament and Team India seeks to be a part of the ODI tournament. To make sure that the Men in Blue take part in the tournament, the Pakistan Cricket Board has written a letter to the BCCI regarding the team's participation.

PCB Sends A Letter to BCCI Over Champions Trophy Participation, Offers Support over Accommodation, Safety Concerns

Team India's status for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 is still up in the air as neither the BCCI nor ICC have approved of their participation. It would be a massive loss if India missed out on the eight-nation ICC ODI tournament. Amid the uncertainty, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has approached the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) and offered assistance with their scheduling and travel. The PCB wrote the BCCI a letter offering support if the Indian team would rather leave Pakistan and head back to Chandigarh or New Delhi following every match.

As per Cricbuzz, "The PCB is understood to have written to the BCCI, offering assistance should the Indian team prefer to return to India -- either to Chandigarh or New Delhi -- after each game to avoid staying in Pakistan due to security concerns. A PCB official confirmed this arrangement, citing that there is nearly a week-long gap between the last two matches."

All eyes are now on India and its status over the team's participation in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy . The Men in Blue's participation would be beneficial for everyone, be it the ICC or the PCB, since the team is the biggest draw. Should India choose to withdraw, the competition will be significantly diminished in value. The ECB has also pointed out the same, as they believe there should be a resolution in case of a stalemate.
