With the Indian cricketers gradually making their way to Australia, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was also seen heading down under and was recently spotted at the airport. The stumper's mother came to see him off as his son jetted off for the crucial Test series in Australia.

Rishabh Pant Seeks Blessings From His Mother Before Departing For BGT Series In Australia
The Border Gavaskar is just two weeks away, and Team India's cricketers who will be a part of the series against Australia are heading down under. Team India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who is expected to be one of the visiting side's top stars was recently spotted at the Delhi Airport. Pant is heading to Australia for BGT 2024-25 and will join the players of the India Camp who are already there in the country. But before that, he will be joining the remaining players in Mumbai and will travel with them. Pant spent some time with his family after the New Zealand series.
In a video which has gone viral on 'X' [Formerly Twitter], Rishabh Pant's mother was also seen accompanying him as she came to see her son off. The stumper touched his mother's feet to seek blessings before heading towards the airport departure gate. He also posed for a picture with a fan before entering the airport entrance.

During India's fighting efforts against New Zealand, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was the biggest hope for the side. The stumper will have a critical role behind the wickets and while batting for the team when the Indian Cricket Team is up against Australia in what is expected to be a hostile environment.
Amid the recent struggles, Team India will be defending their BGT crown, and they will be determined to secure a win to keep their chances for the WTC Final up and running. The first Test match will take place at Perth's Optus Stadium from November 22nd, 2024.
