Robin Uthappa To Lead India As 7 Man Squad For Hong Kong Sixes Tournament Announced

India's squad for the upcoming tournament- Hong Kong Sixes was announced and it was revealed that Indian batter Robin Uthappa will be leading the men in blue. The Hong Kong Sixes is a tournament organised in Hong Kong, China which has teams playing in a six a side format. This year 12 teams will be taking part in the tournament. The tournament will be returning for the first time since 2017 and will be played at the Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground. The three day tournament is all set to kick off from November 1 and will go on till November 3. 

India's Squad For Hong Kong Sixes 

As all of the teams that are participating in the Hong Kong Sixes tournament were announced, India too announced their squad for the 3 day, six a side tournament. Upon the squad release it was revealed that India will be led by Robin Uthappa in the tournament.

The squad also featured some notable names from Indian cricket such as Stuart Binny and Kedar Jadhav.

The last edition of the Hong Kong Sixes Tournament was won by South Africa who will be looking to repeat their feat. The 12 teams taking part in the tournament will be divided into four pools with three teams in each pool. The top two teams from each pool will then move to the quarterfinals and so on. 

The losers from the quarterfinals will move to the Plate semifinals unlike the winners who will head to the Cup Semifinals.
