One of Virat Kohli ‘s classic traits was on display after the match, as the star-India cricketer presented one of his bats to veteran Shakib Al Hasan, who played his last away Test series in India. Another heartwarming moment ensued after the match when Kohli received a present from Bangladesh ’s bowling all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Not only did Kohli acknowledge the present, but he also won hearts by showcasing his Bengali speaking skills.
Virat Kohli Flaunts His ‘Bangla’ as Mehidy Hasan Miraz Presents Him With a Gift
A viral video has taken over the social media platform 'X' [Formerly Twitter], where Bangladesh 's Mehidy Hasan Miraz offered a present to India batter Virat Kohli . Mehidy presented a bat, which was manufactured by his own sports company. Kohli wholeheartedly accepts the present and while doing so, he thanked Miraz for the gift and his response in Bengali language has won the fans' hearts.
"MKS bat, Khoob Bhalo Achchi [MKS bat, it's very good]," said Virat Kohli as he endorsed the bat, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz looked surprised.
"Very good bat, keep doing the good work. You make very good-quality bats. Continue this work and provide cricketers with quality bats," the India batter added as he praised the manufactured cricket bat.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz also presented a bat of his company to Rohit Sharma . The India skipper graciously accepted the present and wished Miraz luck in his endeavours with the company MKS Sports, which he owns alongside some of his friends.
"I’ve known Mehidy for a long time. He is a very good cricketer, and I am proud of him for starting his own bat company with some friends. I wish him all the best; may God grant him success. I hope this company rises above the rest," Rohit Sharma said.
Team India won the two-match Test series against Bangladesh . It was a clean sweep for the hosts as they defied the odds to maintain their stronghold in red-ball cricket. The Men in Blue will now face New Zealand in Tests at home and then lock horns against Australia later for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year.
