There has been a lot of controversy that has surrounded the test match between India A and Australia A after a ball tampering controversy took place during the game. This led to Ishan Kishan getting into a verbal spat with the match umpire. The controversy came in after the match umpire's decide to make use of a new ball in the match. David Warner's wife Candice Warner has reacted strongly to the controversy and levied some serious allegations against India following Ishan Kishan's spat.
Ishan Kishan Gets Into Heated Argument With Match Umpire
During the last day of the India A vs Australia A first unofficial test match, the match umpire decided to bring in a new ball for play which did not sit right with the Indian players. Ishan Kishan during the spat called the decision of the umpire ‘stupid’ which led to him being on report for dissent.
This is how the conversation went between Ishan Kishan and umpire Shawn Craig.
Craig: “When you scratch it, we change the ball. No more discussion. Let's play. This is not a discussion.”
Kishan: “So, we are going to play with this ball?”
Craig: “You're playing with that ball.”
Kishan: “That's a very stupid decision.”
Craig: “Excuse me. You will be on the report for dissent. That is inappropriate behavior. Because of your actions, we changed the ball.”
Kishan: “Thank you!”
Candice Warner's Serious Allegations Against AUS Umpires
Australian batter David Warner's wife was recently on a panel with Fox Cricket where she made some serious claims against Indian Cricket and the IPL .
Candice Warner stated that the umpires want to be a part of the IPL and India has a strong influence on the cricketing world.
"It just goes to show the power of India and how strong they are. A lot of these umpires want to be part of the IPL," stated Candice Warner.
Several other panelists also talked about the powerhouse and the driving force India is in world cricket.
