James Anderson is the only pace bowler to finish in the top 3 of the highest wicket-takers, this is a testament to his hardwork, grit and skill. Anderson is only behind Sri Lanka's Muthiah Muralidaran and Australia's Shane Keith Warne in the list of highest wicket takers in Test Cricket history. Anderson in his last Test match was gunning for Warne's record and wanted to end up ahead of him, but a fiery performance from Gut Atkinson on his debut will leave Anderson stationed third on that list.
