MS Dhoni’s captaincy record some would argue is unparalleled among all Indian captains as the wicketkeeper-batsman has decorated Indian cricket’s trophy cabinet with some of the game’s biggest prizes during his stint as the team's skipper. In the first six years of captaincy, MSD led the young Indian team to a historic inaugural T20 World Cup victory, a 2011 World Cup win, 2013’s Champions Trophy in England, number 1 Test ranking and many overseas series wins. Apart from being a reliable captain, the Indian batsman has also scored over 10,000 runs in ODI’s at an average of 50.57.
