The charity match also featured some Bollywood celebrities who were seen wearing practice jerseys with “Playing for Humanity" written on them. Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor, Samir Kochhar and choreographer Caesar Gonsalves were the celebrities seen alongside Dhoni and Paes. Dhoni's love for football is clearly observed as he is seen promoting the sport in the country and also co-owns Chennaiyin FC of the Indian Super League along with Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan and Vita Dani. Chennaiyin FC have won the ISL title twice in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
Dhoni also played a similar football charity match alongside Bollywood star Ishan Khatter and Nick Jonas in October last year. On his break from cricket, MS has kept himself busy as he was also seen playing football on Sunday along with Arjun Kapoor. Recently, he was also seen playing billiards along with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA Kunal Sarangi at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association
Dhoni's break from cricket
After the World Cup, MS had backed out from the West Indies tour as he had expressed his desire to be a part of a two-week stint with the 106th battalion of the Territorial Army, where he is an honorary lieutenant colonel, which had commenced from July 31 and ended on August 15. It is reported that he is on a break from cricket till December and will be available for selection for Windies' tour of India.
