On Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated former Indian captain and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly for being elected as President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 'Will speak to everyone'
He also revealed his intention of taking everyone on board and striving for welfare of first-class cricketers.

"We will speak to everyone first as we take a decision but my biggest priority will be to look after first-class cricketers. I h requested that to CoA for three years and y didn't listen. That's first thing I will do, look after financial health of our first-class cricketers," Ganguly opined.
