Punjab batsman Mandeep Singh suffered a massive personal trdy on Saturday, October 24 as his far Hardev Singh passed away after a prolonged illness. Mandeep Singh's far was said to be going through health-related issues since Punjab cricketer h come to UAE to play in Dream11 IPL 2020. Despite his far passing away on Saturday morning,  right-hander displayed immense grit and determination as he took field for  Punjab vs Hyderab at Dubai International Cricket Stium in Dubai.

Punjab vs Hyderab: Mandeep Singh takes field just few hours after far's demise

Mandeep Singh was drafted into Punjab's playing XI as he replaced Mayank Agarwal who suffered a leg injury in match against Delhi. A couple of days ago, Mandeep Singh far death news went viral when Indian Express stated that Punjab batsman's far was taken to Chandigarh where he passed away. However, Mandeep Singh's bror h dismissed all rumours saying that his far is fighting health-related issues but cleared that he was still alive.

Bangalore skipper who was playing for Delhi against Karnataka was supposed to resume batting next day. However, Virat Kohli's far took his last breath at around 2:30 in morning. Kohli performed last rites and took field next day and played a brilliant kck of 90.
