Back from injury
Earlier, Mandhana had fractured her right toe while practising in the nets ahead of the South Africa series at home last month. She was scheduled to leave for the Caribbean on November 2. BCCI sources confirmed on November 1 that Mandhana would be available for selection for the 3rd ODI. India and West Indies are also set to play five T20s in the run-up to next year’s T20 world cup.

She was part of both the T20 and ODI squads for the tour, which will be the final duty of the year for the eves. Reports suggest that the playing in the Caribbean might help Mandhana get her form back ahead of Australia tour in January. India will participate in the T20 tri-series against Australia and England. Hopes are that the eves will have some excellent practice against the best teams in the world ahead of the T20 world cup in February next year.
