Labuschagne proves he's a 'Perfectionist' by getting nick '100% right'; alas no support

Marnus Labuschagne got a caught behind appeal 100% right in the 1st Test against New Zealand at the Optus Stadium in Perth which is being played under lights

Marnus Labuschagne has been having an outstanding phase in longest format of game. He has scored three consecutive centuries including recent one against New Zealand at Optus Stadium in Perth. youngster was top-scorer for hosts having scored 143 in first innings of first Test. His scores in last two Tests were 185 and 162 respectively. Meanwhile,  Labuschagne also had a perfect day on field but was sadly let down by his captain and team-mates.

Marnus Labuschagne gets it 100 percent right

In 28th over of New Zealand's first innings, Pat Cummins had completely deceived Henry Nicholls with a beautiful piece of bowling outside off stump. However, after Tim Paine had collected ball behind stumps, an excited Marnus Labuschagne who was fielding at short-leg started appealing with excitement while his team-mates did t look interested. 

''I 100% heard faintest nick", claimed Labuschagne.

He n asked umpire Aleem Dar wher he had heard a nick as well. commentators and Steve Smith were seen having a hearty laugh over it.  Aussie skipper Tim Paine decided t to go for a review. However, replays showed that Nicholls did get a faint nick and had hosts reviewed it n it would have paid off and even Pat Cummins would t have been deprived of a deserving wicket. New Zealand lose half ir side

Australia who were bowled out for 416 ensured that New Zealand were in a spot of bor in Day-Night Test match. visitors were reduced to 1/2 and n 97/5. At end of play on Day 2, Kiwis were placed at 109/5 with Ross Taylor unbeaten on 66 and Henry Nicholls batting at 7. Mitchell Starc rattled Kiwi batting line-up with figures of 4/31 at an ecomy rate of 2.82 including a maiden.
