Matthew Wade confident that Smith will come out on top against Ashwin in last two Tests

Matthew Wade is confident that Steve Smith will come out on top in his individual battle against Ravichandran Ashwin in the final two Tests at SCG & Brisbane

Australian batsman Matw We has said he is confident that Steve Smith will emerge triumphant in individual battle going on against Ravichandran Ashwin in remaining two Tests against India.

Ashwin has alrey accounted for Smith cheaply in two innings of first two Test matches for scores of 1 & 0 respectively and currently holds an edge over former top-ranked Test batsman in ongoing series. Coincidentally, Smith was caught off veteran offie's bowling at slips on both occasions (rmal slip in 1st Test & leg-slip in 2nd).

"I think y have bowled terrifically well, especially in Melbourne re was more spin and bounce, we did t expect it to come into play as it did, we did t apt quick eugh to that wicket, Steve has played against Ashwin plenty of times before this, Smith has been successful over here and I am sure he will be fine, problems at all. Ashwin and Jeja are a difficult spin duo, y are very consistent and we need to find a way, that's nature of beast," said We while replying to an ANI query during virtual press conference on Sunday.
