Michael Holding has criticised Jofra Archer for violating bio-secure protocols and at same time has also questioned England Cricket Board (ECB)'s bio-secure rules as a result of which young fast bowler ended up missing ongoing second Test match against West Indies at Old Trafford, Manchester.

' sympathy at all': Michael Holding

"I have sympathy at all. I don't understand why people can't just do what is required"."Talking about sacrifices - Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in a little cell and he did thing wrong - that is a sacrifice,"   bowling legend was quoted saying by Sky Sports.

"I just want to ask a few questions of  ECB and se protocols, though. I understand that protocols should be put in place but y should be a little bit more logical," two-time World Cup winner added.

"Why aren't England team travelling on a bus? If y have already passed COVID test and everyone is toger, y have six matches and are moving from one venue to ar, why aren't y just all on a bus? Why are y allowed to travel by car? People need to just think a bit," cricketer-turned-commentator/analyst wondered.

What made Archer miss 2nd Test?

Barbados-born pacer's actions (violating team's bio-secure protocols) means that 2019 World Cup winner will have to commence a five-day isolation period followed by two rounds of COVID-19 tests after which self-isolation rm will be lifted. Archer, who faced criticism for t bowling at consistent speeds in first Test, issued an apology for breaching protocols and said that he was 'pained to miss 2nd Test' and that he felt like he had let down both teams.
