Michael Holding wins Freedom of City of London for passionate Black Lives Matter speech
Legendary cricketer Michael Holding along with England's Rainford-Brent will be presented the Freedom of City of London in a virtual ceremony on Tuesday.

Black Lives Matter movement took world by storm, and it also had a deep impact on sport of cricket. Several players came forward to speak about ir experiences and expressed ir opinions passionately regarding racial equality. 66-year-old is set to be awarded for raising his voice against racial bias. Sky Sports Cricket anunced that Holding will be awarded Freedom of City of London for speaking passionately against racism. Ebony Rainford-Brent, who is first black woman to represent England in cricket, will also be awarded alongside Michael Holding. A virtual ceremony will be held on Tuesday, where two former players will be presented with prestigious award.
