Former England skipper Michael Vaughan silenced a Bangladesh fan who compared him to banned cricketer Shakib Al Hasan and said that even though he was an aver player, he wasn't corrupt. Michael Vaughan had reacted sharply to Shakib's ban and had even insisted that ban should have been harsher. Shakib was handed a two-year ban by ICC for t reporting corrupt approaches made to him on multiple occasions by a bookie. Bangladesh fans have been targetting Michael Vaughan ever since he expressed his opinion on Shakib's ban and former England cricketer has t stopped himself from giving it back to fans. Michael Vaughan lashes out at 2-year-ban

Former English cricketer Micheal Vaughan took to Twitter and lashed out at Bangladeshi Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan asserting that sympathy should be shown towards him.  International Cricket Council (ICC) has anunced that Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been suspended from all cricket for two years after he accepted three charges under ICC Anti-Corruption Code. Michael Vaughan, who has always been vocal about his view pertaining to sport, in his Tweet stated that this should have been reported straight away and tenure for suspension should have been more.

Shakib banned for two years

ban comes as a huge blow for Bangladesh cricket ahead of ir much-anticipated tour of India, which comprises three T20 Internationals and two Tests, beginning with shortest format games on vember 3. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), however, said that doors will be opened for Shakib once his ban ends. "We hope he will come back as a better and wiser cricketer and serve Bangladesh for many more years when his sanction will be over," BCB said in a statement. "During suspension, BCB will continue to support his efforts at returning to cricket. " BCB respects ICC's decision and shares similar sentiments against corruption in cricket."
