Michael Vaughan has urged Pakistan to drop middle-order batsman Faw Alam and pick young all-rounder Shab Khan for series-deciding third and final Test match that will be played at as Rose Bowl in Southampton on Friday. Faw finally me his return to Pakistani Test squ for recently concluded second Test match against England after a long wait of 11 long years. However, it was a forgettable comeback for southpaw as he was sent back to pavilion by Chris Woakes without troubling scorers.
southpaw's stay at crease only lasted for four balls before he was caught plumb in front of wicket. Meanwhile, veteran cricketer was also trolled on social media for his awkward batting stance as well.

'Bring Shab Khan in': Michael Vaughan
“I would just make one change and bring Shab Khan in for Faw Alam, just because we saw some spin in last match. Also, I think y will use same pitch, as last Test match, because of lack of time to prepare a new one due to b wear. So, you would want that extra spinning option and a player who has shown that he can bat in se English conditions,” said former English skipper while speaking to Cricbuzz.
“ Pakistan team has surprised me this week by getting that score in first innings. Realistically y should have been bowled out for 150 or 170. Rizwan played beautifully, reing conditions nicely. Babar Azam is in a decent run of form and Abid Ali got a nice 60 at top of order,” cricket pundit ded.
Alam was preferred over Khan in previous Test match.
Who will have last laugh?
With series on line after having snatched defeat from jaws of victory in first Test at Old Trafford, Manchester, Pakistan h choice but to win following Test in order to stay alive in three-match Test series. Skipper Azhar Ali won a crucial toss at as Rose Bowl in Southampton and decided to bat first on a wicket that was expected to slow down as contest progressed.

However, visitors suffered yet ar batting collapse and were bundled out for 236 riding on a fighting half-century from wicket-keeper batsman Mohamm Rizwan. Just when it appeared that hosts were in driver's seat to seal series, rain played spoilsport. Day 3 was completely abandoned without a ball being bowled and eventually, contest ended in a stalemate.
third and final Test match will be played at same venue from August 21-25.

It remains to be seen wher Pakistan can st a remarkable comeback and level series or will England have last laugh and end up registering ir second consecutive Test series win.
