Mohammad Amir rubbishes retirement rumours, has one condition before donning Pak jersey

Pacer Mohammad Amir has said that he is open to playing for Pakistan once the current team management under head coach Misbah-ul-Haq steps down.

One month after anuncing his retirement from international cricket, pacer Mohammad Amir has w said that he will only think about playing for Pakistan once current manment led by head coach Misbah-ul-Haq leaves.

left-arm speedster had earlier said that his decision to retire was t based on him being dropped for recently-concluded New Zealand series, rar it was based on how some members of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) manment kept on going about his decision to t play Test cricket.

'Stop spreading fake news'

Taking to micro-blogging site, Amir clarified that he would be donning Pakistani jersey only once current team manment leaves. 28-year-old n urged media to stop spreading fake news just for sake of selling ir stories.

'I don't think I can play cricket under this manment'

Last month, Pak frontline fast bowler revealed why he would t be able to play game under current team manment.

"To be honest, I don't think I can play cricket under this manment, I am leaving cricket, for w, I am being mentally tortured, I cant handle it, I have seen it eugh from 2010-2015. I have to repeatedly hear that PCB invested a lot in me, I am thankful to Shahid Afridi as he gave me chances when I came back after ban," said Amir in a video that had gone viral back n.

Mohammad Amir's cricketing career

Amir has represented Pakistan in 36 Tests where he picked up 119 scalps in his 10-year Test career from 2009-2019. left-arm pacer has also represented Men In Green in 61 One Day Internationals and 48 T20Is where he has picked up 81 and 59 wickets respectively.
