More trouble mounts up for Bangladesh veteran Shakib Al Hasan as he was reported for suspect action during his one-off county championship stint with Surrey.

It looks like troubles are finding a way to get to Shakib Al Hasan. The Bangladesh all-rounder has been on thin ice after intense protests erupted in Bangladesh , which led to the ousting of Sheikh Hasina . Shakib has been in trouble with law enforcement and cannot return to his homeland. The superstar all-rounder was last seen in action against India in Tests, and he hasn't been a part of the national side since then. Now, more issues are circling the Bangladesh veteran and it goes back to his one-off county stint.

Shakib Under ECB Radar After Being Reported For Suspect Bowling action
After the issues in Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan has now been reported for suspect bowling action when he was a part of Surrey at the County Championship. As per Cricbuzz, the umpires have reported the BAN veteran when he made a one-off appearance for Surrey when they faced Somerset. The all-rounder has been told to undergo an analysis of his bowling action by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
In his first appearance since the 2010-11 season, Shakib Al Hasan took nine wickets after bowling for over 63 overs in the play. He decided to appear for Surrey after eight players were away because of international duty. But umpires Steve O'Shaughnessy and David Millns subsequently deemed his bowling action as suspect, leading to more trouble for the all-rounder.

Reports also added that while Shakib Al Hasan will not be suspended from action, he needs to go through tests in an 'approved location' in the next few weeks.

"The matter (Shakib's suspect bowling action) has no connection to international cricket or domestic cricket in other countries. The matter is under ECB jurisdiction and not related to ICC or other boards," a BCB official said as per reports.
The 37-year-old legendary all-rounder has been out of action for quite a while. He last featured against Team India when the Bangla Tigers were whitewashed 0-2. He also expressed his intention to retire in his homeland, but the tensions are still at the boiling point, and he is unable to return to Bangladesh just yet. However, Shakib has been named for an away series, where BAN would face off against Afghanistan in Sharjah.
