Dhoni is regarded as one of the best captains that India has ever produced. He possesses a massive fan-following not only in the country but across the globe. His ability to stay calm and composed on the cricket field under the toughest of situations is admired by many.
The Indian wicket-keeper is the only Indian skipper to have won three ICC trophies, T20 World Cup 2007, ICC World Cup 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013. He bid adieu to Test cricket back in 2014 and has been the regular part of Team India until the 2019 World Cup.
After India lost a close and heartbreaking semi-final to New Zealand, he took a sabbatical and went on to serve the Paramilitary forces for two months. And, currently, he is spending his time off from cricket with his family in his hometown, Ranchi.
