While speaking at an event, MS Dhoni was asked about his feelings while watching nail-biting Men's T20 World Cup Finale. MSD said he was at home and did t miss out on any moment, even though his friends believed game was over as he felt team was mindful of how swiftly things could change. He also said that India took full vant of ir opportunities in final overs and that South Africa's batting was lacking depth.
"We were at home watching. Some of my friends were also watching, but once second innings started, most of m left. I was only one sitting re, you kw, going in and out, like, 'Is it over? Come on, join us.' But I was like, 'In cricket, it’s t over until it’s actually over.' ne of m believed it, even I was questioning it at some points. You kw, you want team to win, but deep down you wonder, 'What needs to happen w?' And one of things I firmly believed was that, you kw, ir batting order was a little light on batters.

“And we’ve seen in cricket that when pressure builds, anything can happen. So, re was a time when y were firmly cruising, but when stakes are high, you kw, when it’s crucial, when games are big, you get that one chance and want to make most of it. So, I feel y were able to do that, and that’s why we won trophy. A big, big congratulations to guys on field, because that’s kind of energy, motivation, and belief needed,” said Dhoni at an event.
