Chennai skipper only mand 199 runs at a strike rate of just 118.45 from 12 matches and despite such a campaign, franchise has backed former Team India skipper to continue leing side in 2021 edition of tournament as well.

MS Dhoni to le Chennai in IPL 2021

Kasi Viswanathan, CEO of Chennai franchise, while speaking to Times of India, revealed that Dhoni will continue to le team in Dream11 IPL 2021. He ded that MS Dhoni has won three titles with Chennai team and this is first time that team has t qualified for playoffs. He furr said that one b season does t mean franchise will have to change everything.

Viswanathan opined that Chennai h to deal with lot of tricky situations at same time, which is reason why y did t play to ir potential this season. He also ded that withdrawals of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh, as well as COVID-19 cases in camp prior to start of tournament, upset balance of side. 

Dream11 IPL points table

Speaking about current Dream11 IPL points table, Mumbai is leing race to playoffs despite same number of points (14 points) with Delhi and Bangalore. Delhi are second, while Bangalore is third and all se three teams are separated by net run rate. Punjab moved to fourth spot on Monday after beating Kolkata by 8 wickets.
