Sunil Gavaskar comes to Mumbai Cricket Association's rescue to locate MS Dhoni's 2011 World Cup-winning six ball in Mumbai after a long search.

MS Dhoni's iconic World Cup-winning six in 2011 Cricket World Cup against Sri Lanka is etched in memories of cricket fans. re is more good news for fans as very ball that former Indian captain muscled over long-on has finally been located with help of batting legend Sunil Gavaskar. Mumbai Cricket Association h plans to identify  seat where ball landed to name it after MS Dhoni as a tribute to his contribution to Indian cricket.

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar came to rescue of association, as apparently batsman's friend knew about person, who was seated where six landed. same person has ball from World Cup final in his possession. seat in contention over here is 210 number seat in L Block of  MCA Pavillion. Association plans to engrave a special text for MS Dhoni on very seat.

Ranchi-based cricketer anunced his retirement from international cricket on August 15. This triggered whole search operation as association wanted to give a tribute to World Cup-winning Captain. It is believed that Sunil Gavaskar will help cricketing body to get in touch with person who was seated on that particular seat.
