MS Dhoni's manager drops a big hint about his future, says MSD keen on pursuing forces actively

Following India's exit from the ongoing World Cup after the semi-final loss to New Zealand by 18 runs on July 9, rumors loomed about former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni considering his retirement from the game

Following India's exit from ongoing World Cup after semi-final loss to New Zealand by 18 runs on July 9, rumors loomed about former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni considering his retirement from game. Although no such decision has been taken by World Cup-winning captain yet, rumours of Dhoni potentially joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after his retirement me rounds in media. 

Now however, former Skipper's manager dropped a huge hint, indicating that Dhoni is keen on joining Indian security forces post his retirement and that he wants to actively pursue forces.

'Captain Cool' Dhoni is a Lt Col of Indian Territorial Armyt, a matter which became a big talking point in beginning stages of World Cup after he was spotted sporting 'Balidaan Bge' Army insignia during stumping of Andile Phehlukwayo in India's opener against South Africa.  regimental dagger is insignia of Indian Para Special Forces with whom Dhoni has also undergone a brief period of training. During course of his training in Agra, Dhoni is believed to have done five parachute jumps during training period.

former skipper's love for Army is well known, as he has often expressed his desire of joining forces. Earlier this year, Dhoni and Indian team wore army caps during ODI match against Australia at Ranchi as a tribute to CRPF personnel who lost ir lives in February 14 Pulwama terror attack.

MS Dhoni played a crucial knock against Kiwis, a 50-run knock that almost saw India to victory before he was run-out by Martin Guptill, bringing curtains down on India's dream of lifting Cup for third time after 1983 and 2011.
