After enjoying a dream run by topping the league table, Team India's ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 came to an end after their 18-run loss against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday. The Men In Blue were in all sorts of trouble after they were reduced to 5/3 and then 92/6 before a 116-run seventh wicket stand between Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni almost took them over the line.

Even though the Virat Kohli-led side did not have a fairytale ending, one of their star pacers Jasprit Bumrah had an outstanding campaign where he was among the wickets as well as bowled some economical spells. The 25-year-old is India's highest and the fourth highest wicket-taker in the ongoing quadrennial event. He finished with 18 wickets in nine games.
