'Name is enough': Yuzvendra Chahal makes golden tweet for R Ashwin post IND vs AUS 2nd ODI

It came as a surprise for many when Ravichandran Ashwin received an expected call-up for the bilateral series against Australia. Fast forward two matches in the series, and Ashwin has emerged as a prominent name for the upcoming World Cup team selection. The redemption of Ashwin in ODIs is noted by the cricket world and his Rajasthan Royals teammate, Yuzvendra Chahal, has also expressed delight over the rise of the spin wizard.

Yuzvendran Chahal hails Ravichandran Ashwin
Yuzvendra Chahal, who himself was in the scheme of things for the World Cup squad before the announcement, could not make it through the cut however, the spirit of teamsmanship is intact in Chahal. Following the end of India v Australia 2nd ODI Chahal took to X to express his opinion of R Ashwin. While Ashwin is the No.1 Test bowler, his ODI career was long perceived as over. However, captain Rohit Sharma recently conveyed that Ashwin is in the mix for the World Cup squad and subsequently was added to the team for the Australia series. He has featured in both the matches that have been played so far and has picked up 4 wickets in the series. Three of them came in the second ODI, at a position which completely turned the game towards India.
Chahal, who shares the dressing room with Ravichandran Ashwin at Rajasthan Royals, disseminated a message in respect of Ashwin. He wrote, "Ravichandran Ashwin name is enough". Here's what he posted.

Ravichandran Ashwin likely to be a part of World Cup 2023 squad
With the final squad for the marquee tournament about to get unveiled, Ashwin's case is strong and all probable for a grand entry, if it happens to be the case then it will be his third World Cup after 2011 and 2015. Ashwin could prove to be instrumental in the ODI mayhem as he brings a blend of experience and skill. Moreover, the prowess he carries with the bat needs no description, and he has proved he can handle his nerves even in the most tense situations.
