PM Narendra Modi has wonderful gesture for Australian PM Morrison

PM Narendra Modi had a wonderful gesture for his Australian counterpart Morrison who was promoting Australian tourism as they host next year's ICC World T20

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come forward to give his best wishes to his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison after he had tweeted about an edge of the seat T20 contest between Prime Minister's XI and Sri Lankans on Thursday which the former had ended up winning by one wicket and a ball to spare.

PM Modi backs Morrison

After the T20 match between Prime Minister's XI and Sri Lankans, Scott Morrison took to the micro-blogging site and wrote that after the superb T20 match, he was really looking forward to Australia hosting the ICC World T20 next year. Morrison then urged Tourism Australia to have a new advertisement for encouraging Indian cricket fans to consider a trip Down Under. He then asked Narendra Modi what were his thoughts on the same.

Meanwhile, Modi backed his Australian counterpart by complimenting the video. Narendra Modi then obliged by saying that if Scott Morrison personally invites then he was sure that many more tourists and cricket lovers will plan to visit Australia. Modi then went on to add that the cricket fans in India are also the liveliest. PM Modi concluded by wishing the people of Australia a Happy Diwali.

Australian PM turns water boy 

The Prime Minister of Australia turned into a water boy when the Australia PM XI team was facing the Sri Lankan team in a practice match. The match was being played at the Manuka Oval stadium which turned out to be a pretty low-scoring affair. However, when the Sri Lankan’s were batting, Scott Morrison was seen running on to the field with a drink carrier in his hand. His special appearance shocked many viewers and also the Australian players. When Morrison was running towards the field, many players were seen laughing and some were shocked. Some players also shook his hand as he was leaving the field. The Australian PM came to the field on the sixteenth over when Sri Lanka had scored only 110 runs. Morrison was wearing a white formal shirt, black trousers, and a green and yellow striped tie. He was also seen representing his country by wearing the traditional yellow cap of Australia.
