Navdeep Saini injury update: What happened to Indian pacer during Day 1 of Gabba Test?

According to the latest Navdeep Saini injury update, the bowler has been taken for scans after he left the field because of a groin injury.

As confirmed by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on ir Twitter account, speedster had complained of pain in his groin. player had a word with team's physio, Nitin Patel, and went off field. fast bowler was assessed by medical team, and according to latest Navdeep Saini injury update, cricketer has been taken for scans.

Navdeep Saini has a major role to play in crucial Test match in absence of senior fast bowlers. While exact nature of injury is t kwn, Ajinkya Rahane and co. will be awaiting results of scan with batted breaths. With Saini being unavailable to bowl currently, onus will be on T Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar to help India bundle out opposition.
