Team India batter Shubman Gill once again failed to score big on a given opportunity and was cleaned up by Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf for a score of 10 runs off 32 balls in the IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 clash. Gill was struggling to get bat on the ball from the first over and at last, was cleaned up due to his poor technique. The Indian cricket team is playing against Pakistan in an ODI match after four years.

This is not the first time Shubman Gill has failed on a given opportunity in an ODI match. Gill was not able to score many runs in the three-match series against West Indies, apart from an 85-run innings in the third match of the series. Gill will be one of the prime choices of the Indian cricket team selectors for the opening position in the ODI World Cup 2023, but if he continues to fail, it can also put his place in doubt in the upcoming 50-over tournament.
