The Pakistani cricket team are set to tour Australia for three T20I and two Test matches. Pakistan, who are ranked No 1 in ICC T20 team rankings, recently lost a home T20I series against a young Sri Lankan team. The defeat brought about many changes within the Pakistani line-up. Regular skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed was sacked from captaincy following Pakistan’s poor run of form in the past few months. The Men in Green also had a disappointing outing in the recently-concluded ICC Cricket World Cup in England, winning just five out of their nine round-robin matches.
